Information You Provide
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the outside provider that supplies its results. Our servers do not retain a copy of that search. A message sent to us contains only the details included in that message and is used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Like most hosted sites, the service may retain ordinary server-log information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We review this in aggregate for security, operation, and page-use trends. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or advertising measurement where used.
How Limited Data Is Used
The limited information described here supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and content maintenance. We do not sell a visitor list or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services and Links
Washington County, Pennsylvania, library, archive, and sponsored-search links lead to services with their own privacy practices. That outside policy controls any information submitted after leaving this site, including information entered into a sponsored result provider.
Recipients of Technical Data
Hosting and support providers may process logs on our behalf. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic technical data described above. Information is disclosed when required by valid legal process and otherwise only as needed to operate the service.
Safeguarding Information
The site uses an encrypted connection and keeps logs only for the operational purposes described here. There are no user accounts, passwords, or personal profiles for Peters Township Residents Directory visitors.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor may have supplied information, contact us so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Choices
A visitor may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold by using the Contact page. Because we retain very little, such a request normally concerns a contact message or server log. Pennsylvania public records held by the Township, Washington County, or Commonwealth remain under their custodians' rules, including the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, Act 3 of 2008, 65 P.S. §§ 67.101–67.3104. A request to remove or correct an official record belongs with that custodian.
Policy Changes
Any revision will appear on this page. Continued use after the revised policy is posted indicates acceptance of the current version.
